The lack of television here means that if I get to watch something, it is not in real time. So last night while the Super Bowl was on, I chatted with my brother and worked on finishing a book that is soon due at the library. My daughter facetimed with just less than a minute to go in the game. We “watched” the final exciting minute and overtime together. Well, she watched and I listened to the commentary. It was fun! Must have been a really good game!! I know lots of history was made. I love a game where you don’t know the outcome until the end. Kind of like a good book that way.
Last week, I had my scrapbook club.
I had set aside a couple of mis-cut pieces of Carried Away designer paper thinking, “there’s something I can do with those.”
Today, I did.
I’ve used Lift Me Up and the Up and Away coordinating thinlits for this card.
Over the Night of Navy base, I’ve added some bits and pieces that I had leftover from last week’s Scrapbook Club.
The Carried Away designer paper is one of the Sale-A-Bration bonus products.
I’ve carried the hot air balloons all the way through.
They’ve been used to finish both the inside of the card and a coordinating envelope.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Lift Me Up card.
