Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  Today, I pulled out one of the Sale a Bration sets that I was able to pre-earn as a demonstrator — Lasting Lily.  The detail in this stamp set is amazing!  So I thought, let’s do this really simple and see what happens.  That’s where Lasting Lily with Galvanized Paper comes in!

 

Lasting Lily with Galvanized Paper

 

 

This card reminds me of an old style of black and white photography.

or an art print.

You’ll need a Basic Black base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″

Then, add a Galvanized Paper layer 4″ x 5-1/4″

Get the lovely Galvanized Metallic Paper before it retires on January 2, 2019.

 

 

Next, stamp the various Calla Lily parts using the Lasting Lily (149717)

stamp set and Memento ink.

Don’t you just love all of the fine detail in these images!?!

Tip:  A juicy ink pad will fill the fine detail of the stamp.

So to stamp this detailed image, use an ink pad this is on the drier side

or use a Sponge Dauber to apply the ink.

 

 

Next, stamp the sentiment on Vellum and emboss in silver.

Doing the sentiment this way adds just a hint of detail.

Tip: To adhere the Vellum to the card front, use Multipurpose Glue.

Rub the glue across the back of the Vellum with your finger.

Now it will stick without showing the adhesive.

 

 

Finish with a trio of Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
