As I was making today’s card, I had a discovery! I “discovered” an image in the stamp set (it had been there all along) that I had not previously noticed. In fact, it’s taken me most of a year to notice it!! It’s not the first time that has happened and I’m sure it won’t be the last. But, that’s okay! For me when that happens, it’s almost like getting a brand new stamp set!! So what stamp set was I using? Check out my Label Me Pretty for GDP083 creation to see!
I decided to combine the upcoming
Label Me Pretty (143861 sneak peek), which really is new to me,
and Swirly Bird.
Swirly Bird is where I found the “new” image.
I combined these two for GDP083
which was to add/use sparkles/bling.
No problem there!
Label Me Pretty for GDP083
I started with a piece of Berry Burst cardstock (144243 sneak peek).
LOVE this vibrant new In Color!
Then added a layer of Whisper White.
In the lower left corner,
I used stamps from Swirly Bird.
They were inked in
Berry Burst (144083 sneak peek), Fresh Fig (144082 sneak peek), Lemon Lime Twist (144086 sneak peek)
and Powder Pink (144084 sneak peek).
The “new” image I found
was used to create a background
in Lemon Lime Twist.
I had never noticed the splatter stamp!
And I love splatter stamps!
They’re wonderful for adding a little “visual” texture.
I used the birthday stamp from Label Me Pretty and inked it in Berry Burst.
Then the Pretty Label punch was used to cut it out.
For my bling, I added loops of Silver Metallic Thread,
a few Metallics Sequins and one of the new
Faceted Gems (144142 sneak peek)
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Label Me Pretty card!

I’d love to be your demonstrator if you’re in the United States!
This is a gorgeous card Sara. Love the colours … and the bright splatter in the background is the perfect addition to the bling elements! Thank you so much for playing along again with this week’s Global Design Project challenge! We love you playing along with us each week.
Thanks GDP team! And thanks for helping me find a “new” stamp 😉
Yay! I didn’t notice the splatter either! I was so sad when gorgeous grunge was being retired, but now I have a backup! Thanks Sara!
Me too Lisa! Maybe that’s why I finally noticed it 🙂
