It’s the end of a busy weekend and time for #stampingsunday. The school orchestra went to adjudication yesterday afternoon. We arrived home about midnight and then today, we hosted our annual Longaberger Basket, Coach, Pandora bingo for the Instrumental Music Association.
In the midst of all of this, there has been a birthday in my house. And, Label Love came to the rescue. There have been so many balls in the air that I came to today a little unprepared. But, Have stamps? You can quickly become prepared.
Check out the cute birthday pin I made:
Favorite color? Check! it’s green. So here, I used Garden Green cardstock for the base cut with Banners framelits. Next is a layer of Whisper White cut with the same framelits and embossed with the Chevron embossing folder. I then added a piece of 3/4″ Pear Pizzazz Chevron Ribbon. The one and six are from Morning Post Numbers (part of the Holiday catalog carry over list). They were inked in Garden Green and punched with the 1″ circle punch. Finally, “Happy Birthday” from Label Love was inked with Versamark and heat embossed with Wild Wasabi embossing powder. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the 16 and Happy Birthday and you’re done.
My daughter loved wearing her pin as she worked the bingo today. She was pleased with all of the birthday wishes, even if most of them were from strangers.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’re having a great day. Time for me to make our blueberry birthday waffles…for dinner. It’s been that kind of day.
Create something today,
Sara, what a great idea! How exciting that your daughter was proud to wear the creation you so lovingly made for her.
Thanks Elizabeth! She’s funny! She even requested to wear it a second day. Just in case anyone missed wishing her a happy birthday 🙂
Great card – love the use of the ribbon. x
Thanks Angela! It held up great to all day wear yesterday.
