As promised earlier this week, I’m here with my June 2014 Paper Pumpkin variation one. I played with one of the precut and pre-scored designer papers intended to make pinwheels. If you haven’t seen what’s in this month’s Paper Pumpkin, check out this short video.
June 2014 Paper Pumpkin Variation One
Now back to my creation. I was thinking along the lines of a party, picnic, gathering for the 4th of July. Though these colors will work all summer long.
With that thought in mind, I came up with a favor/candy dish. It will add a splash of holiday decor to your table or room without taking up space needed for your food and beverages.
It was easy to make. Simply overlap the pieces as seen in the photo and add a little Multipurpose Glue. I’ve added a little Daffodil Delight star at each corner using the punch in the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack..
Set a few of these about with different snacks or treats.
Maybe use some of each style. You’ll have lots of holiday color in a snap.
What are you making with your June Paper Pumpkin? Why not share it on Sunday as part of #stampingsunday?
