Hi! I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the US. I was happy to see my Expressions in Color kit had arrived while I was on vacation last week. So today I’m ready to share my June 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternate 1 card.

June 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternate 1

For this first alternative card, I wanted to play with the Fresh Freesia and alcohol ink art card base.  And while the card base itself is rather bold, I created a card that is lighter feeling.

This you are amazing card is perfect to send as a thank you, to congratulate someone on an accomplishment or to cheer someone on through a tough time.

Let’s look at this detail photo.

I brought in Fresh Freesia ink and used the Evening Evergreen ink from the June kit.  The shape of the tag from the kit is a nice counterpoint to the circular shapes that form the focal point.

To finish the card, I added accents using Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and Playing with Patterns Resin Dots.  The Purple Posy Resin Dots are like a soft echo of the Fresh Freesia.
