Today, I’ve got another alternate idea for using the stamps that were included in the July Paper Pumpkin – Thanks a Latte. It’s that time of year that I begin thinking about back to school and holidays which makes me think of all of the little thank you’s one needs.
I created this simple thank you that will fit conveniently in your purse so that you can always have a couple on hand.
This holds a tea bag.
I started with a 2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Cucumber Crush then, scored at 4 1/14″ from either end. Next, I took the Ornate Tag Topper and punched both ends. The tea bag is secured with a couple of glue dots and the top is closed with a piece of Gold Bakers Twine onto which I’ve tied a tassel.
Using the negative left from one of the die cut cups in the July Paper Pumpkin, as a mask/stencil, I daubed in some Cucumber Crush ink. Then, I stamped the cup and tea bag string from the Thanks A Latte stamp set.
Finally, I created the sentiment using the Alphabet Rotary Stamp. I foresee lots of fun with this baby.
Think about making up a few of these to hand out as you make the rounds straightening out school schedules or to thank those who help you as you do your daily errands. They’ll appreciate it as they’re often forgotten.
