Santa’s Sleigh for The Joy Of Sets Christmas 2017 Blog Hop

You know how you pull out a stamp set that you haven’t used for a while
and you love it all over again?
That’s exactly what has happened for me with Santa’s Sleigh.
–
–
I have been completely loving the Fresh Florals designer paper
for some of my Christmas creations!
To cover the top and sides of the Mini Pizza Box,
I used a Tranquil Tide print.
–
–
Next, I smeared on some Embossing Paste to create some snow texture.
Then, I sprinkled the Embossing Paste with Dazzling Diamonds.
To top the snow, I stamped a tree and deer from Santa’s Sleigh and embossed them.
Then, I cut them with Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits
before adding them to the box with Dimensionals.
–
–
I just had to create a box using the beautiful sleigh!
Again I used the Fresh Florals designer paper and Embossing Paste.
–
–
While the Embossing Paste was drying, I cut a sleigh from Silver Foil Paper.
Then, I cut the filigree layer for the sleigh from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
Tip: Either attach the piece of glimmer paper to a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet before cutting.
Or, pull the backing paper off of the glimmer paper before cutting which will make
adhering the glimmer paper piece with liquid adhesive easier.

A stunning creation. I love Santa’s sleigh, too. Your choice of DSP was very insightful. The embossing paste with the glitter really makes it look like snow. Well done!
Thanks Lucy! I love how versatile the patterns in Fresh Florals are. And any time I can add glitter…I’m in!
