Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator in the US. Today, I’m sharing January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternates 3 and 4. I think you’re going to love these quick and easy alternatives for the Sending Hearts Paper Pumpkin kit!

January 2021 Paper Pumpkin Alternates 3 and 4

One of the products that I like to have on hand for quick and easy simple stamping cards are the Basic White Note  Cards and Envelopes.  I like them for several reasons.  First is their size.  Since there’s not a lot of landscape, you can’t and don’t need to get carried away designing.  Second is they’re a great value with 20 cards and 20 envelopes in each pack.  Not to mention the convenience of that!  Third, I find them a great way to extend my Paper Pumpkin kit.  By that, I mean I can turn the kits cards into more cards by using the Note Cards and Envelopes.

For this alternate, I created a scalloped piece from part of one of the Petal Pink cards bases.  Then, I wrapped it with white twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack.

To change up the color profile from the kit, all of the stamping for this card is done in Night of Navy.

For alternate 4, I started with one of the Note Cards and a piece of one of the Poppy Parade card bases from the Sending Hearts kit.

I added some Basic Black cardstock trim accents.  The difference those little pops of black make is dramatic.

Using Coastal Cabana ink, I used a sentiment stamp from the kit to create a background design.  And used the same ink again to stamp the central heart.
