I’m sure that many/all of you are familiar with Pinterest. Well I like most other people do part of my surfing there. Last night, I came across several images that spoke to me for one reason or another. They really got my creative juices going for this inspired by OhHappyDay card.
Inspired By OhHappyDay
The first of these images, in fact many of them, is from Jordan Ferney – Oh Happy Day
Here’s her website: Ohhappyday.com
Graphic Card
And, this is my card inspired by the photo from Oh Happy Day. I love the color combination (I’ve used it before) and the shapes of the chairs against the diagonals of the floor and the grain of the marble. I’ve tried to recreate the feel of that and ended of with a card that is very graphic/geometrical in design
.
There are lots of elements at play here from the Hardwood stamp and washi to the Silver Glimmer Paper and In Color Sequins. I’ve punched squares and half circles. And after embossing the half circles, I stacked and rotated the pieces so that they didn’t create a linear design.
This one is a little far out but it sure was fun to create.
Thanks for stopping by.
