For this week’s The Spot Creative Challenge 162, we’re CASE-ing the designer.  You can go to Maheswari’s blog and choose a card to CASE.  Then share your CASE with us over on the challenge blog!

In Symmetry Best Day Ever

For today’s card, I broke out one of my new Stampin’ Up! sets.  In Symmetry appeals to me because of the flower shapes and additional elements.  Creating designs with this builder style set will be fun and easy!

I used In Symmetry to CASE Maheswari’s card.  In fact, I’ve done a pretty straight CASE just changing up the color combo and stamp set and a few minor details.

Using the Symmetrical Stems Border Punch (included in the Bundle), I added some leaves to my large flower.  To mimic the shape of the Scalloped Contours Die used for the sentiment, I used a Square Vellum Doily.

Then, I accented the card with Simply Elegant Trim and Genial Gems.
