Welcome to the September 2017 ICS Blog Hop! This month the ICS team is sharing creations and inspiration using products from the new Holiday Catalog. My product of choice for today’s hop is Christmas Quilt. And true to form for me, I’m stepped out of the box. I’m sharing one of my alternate visions for using this fabulous set.

Lots of great images in the Christmas Quilt stamp set.
And, there’s a set of coordinating dies.
I love it because you can create something quite traditional.
Or, you can use the selection of images and create something more graphic, modern, geometric.
Basically where ever your creative fancy takes you!

I went with something kind of clean and simple and modern.
On the bottom, I used a piece of Thick Very Vanilla cardstock.
Then, I added a layer of Copper Foil.
Most of the magic happens on the Very Vanilla focal layer.

First, I heat embossed the quilt pattern stamp in Copper.
Then, I cut the Copper Foil flower using the Quilt Builder Framelits.
Next, I used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut Copper Foil squares.
Finally, I added sequins from the Metallics Assortment.
