ICS Blog Hop Beautiful Day and Brushos
–
–
The Brusho Crystal Color comes in five shades.
It’s a very finely ground pigment.
You’ll want to poke just one small hole in the top and shake it out like you would salt.
–
–
I stamped the flower image from Beautiful Day onto watercolor paper
and heat embossed it.
Then, I tried the Brushos four different ways.
–
–
For the Blue flower, I painted the sections with water and then sprinkled on the Blue Brusho.
Next, I sprinkled on Brilliant Red crystals and spritzed with alcohol.
–
–
Next, I used Gamboge crystals and spritzed with water.
And for the last flower, I blended Yellow and Moss Green crystals and spritzed with water.

The Beautiful Day stamp set has two images perfect for coloring!
–
–
For my card, I used a Thick Whisper White card base.
Next, I added a layer of Sweet Soiree specialty designer paper.
–
–
Using the flower from Beautiful Day, I stamped on Watercolor Paper and heat embossed.
Then, I shook on Brilliant Red crystals and spritzed with water.
For the center, I used the Gamboge crystals.
After “coloring”, I cut the image out by hand.
–
–
Then, I stamped extra leaves.
To color the leaves, I combined Yellow and Moss Green Brusho crystals and spritzed with water.
–
Finally, I masked the sentiment and stamped in Black on a narrow strip of Whisper White.
Then, I used a piece of Foam Adhesive Strip to adhere it.
–
Final detail are a few pieces of Gold Glitter Flakes.
