I know I’m kind of late posting this. But I got back from Leadership and yep, life kept right on moving. Since I wakened in the middle of the night, I thought this was the perfect time to get that photo edited.
So here’s the back story. Stampin’ Up! requested samples for an art contest using Paper Pumpkin. We were to use the stamps and leftover bits. In other words, we weren’t to make what was in the kit. Well the winners were announced and I was not one of those. So imagine my surprise when I saw that my entry had been chosen for the Paper Pumpkin display board at Leadership. Yeah, I was excited!
This is my entry on the board at Leadership. Yes, I know it’s not a great photo.
So, I’m glad I took these before mailing it off.
I used the stamp set from the July, 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit – Wish Big. Then, I used the leftover bit from the die cut word “Wish”. This piece was used as a stencil. I always keep at least one strip from the die cut pieces in the kits.
I added lots of colorful circles punched from Confetti Celebration designer paper. It’s just fun! Perfect for a birthday.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Paper Pumpkin art contest entry for Leadership. I hope it inspires you to pull out your stamps from past kits and make something.
