Alternative Card

This kit is soo gorgeous!
I took my inspiration from one of the kit card bases.
For this alternative, you’re going to use what’s left —
the exclusive stamp set and the ink spot.

Start by brushing Petal Pink ink onto a Very Vanilla panel
with your Aqua Painter
Blot after each brushing to keep the cardstock from getting too wet.
Tip: If the cardstock begins to warp,
brush the back side lightly with water.
Once dry (you can use your Heat Tool to speed things up),
stamp a random pattern of flower clusters in Early Espresso.
Then use the splatter image in Old Olive, stamping off first.

Next, added a folded over strip of Very Vanilla Polka Dot Tulle (retiring)
and loops of Old Olive Linen Thread (retiring).
Tip: To give the linen thread and even lighter feel (kind of like a nest),
pull the three strands of the thread apart before looping.

Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla.
Then, cut it out with a Stitched Nested Labels die.
I loved the foiled tags in the kit so much, I wanted a similar look here.
On Champagne Foil Paper,
trace the same die used for the sentiment.
Then die cut.
Use your Paper Snips to cut along the traced line
to create the foil frame.

Send this pretty card to someone
who would love to receive a little happy mail!

Alternative 3D

Again using one of the card bases as inspiration,
I created this triangle treat box for you to make.

Using the exclusive stamp set, create a random pattern
on Pool Party in Versamark.
Then, heat emboss in white.

After filling the box,
tie it up with Pretty Peacock 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon.
Tuck in some Silver Mini Sequin Trim (retiring)
as a little blingy accent.
Tip: As you tie the bow with the scalloped linen ribbon,
you will need to twist the ribbon
in order to keep the design forward.
Use Mini Glue Dots in discreet places to hold the twist in the ribbon.

Finally, stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink.
Then using the Classic Label Punch, cut out the sentiment.
Reinsert the sentiment strip and punch to make it smaller.
Tip: The tacky end of the Take Your Pick Tool is
perfect for holding the reinserted punched strip in place for the second punching.

I’m hopelessly lost! I’m crying because I feel like an idiot! I’ve read your post at least 10 times and still don’t know how to make this adorable treat box! I can’t believe I’m that stupid? I guess I need to ask for help? I’m sorry to bother you with this, but, I’m making treat boxes for a baby shower, these are perfect size ad color, the Pool Party CS) as she’s having a boy! Forgive me for asking for more help! I love the tips you gave us. I haven’t used my Scalloped Ribbon yet, so now, I’m forewarned!
