I’m preparing for a craft show at Easton High School on Saturday and one of the things I always try to have on hand are small gifts that can be used as hostess gifts, thank yous and stocking stuffers. This becomes a busier and busier time through the end of the year. So, it’s nice to have something that we can whip up fairly quick and that looks great too! While it’s not a new idea, I thought I’d share what I’m making today.
Most people enjoy chocolate and Hershey Nuggets are easy to package
for a nice presentation.
I’ve wrapped one group of nuggets in a pretzel bag and created a tray for the nuggets from Mossy Meadow cardstock.
The box for the other set of nuggets was created from a piece of Window Sheet.
Both groups of nuggets are wrapped in Merry Moments designer paper. This paper is great for both Thanksgiving and Christmas – like the way I used the plaid and the dots here. And it comes in two sizes: 12 x 12 and a 6 x 6 paper stack.
You’ll want a 3″ x 1″ strip for each nugget. I gently curled each strip using my bone folder. Then I basically made the strip into a bellyband for the nugget by adding 2 glue dots and overlapping the designer paper. I chose not to adhere it to the nugget wrapper so that it would be easier to open and so that the recipient could see what kind of nugget it is (have to be aware of allergies).
The topper for my pretzel bag uses two of the graduated tags from the Tags and Labels Framelits. The tag’s sentiment is from Lighthearted Leaves and it’s tied on with a piece of Gold Cording Trim. Simple!!

The Window Sheet box is wrapped with a piece of White Glitter Ribbon. Then, I created a tag using a 1 1/4″ circle punch of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper and a Smoky Slate Flurry of Wishes snowflake that’s been topped with a Basic Rhinestone for a more tailored presentation.
Let me know if you’d like a template for the box and I’ll be happy to share it.
