Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Today, I’m participating in a new blog hop — Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop June 2018. Notice we said “June 2018”? That means we plan to bring you a home decor blog hop with creations using Stampin’ Up! products each month!! So, mark your calendars for July 17. Of course, I’d love to see you back here before that!! Let’s check out what I’ve created for you today. Then, you’ll want to see what the rest of the today’s talented participants have crated for the hop!
Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop June 2018
For my home decor creation, I used an embroidery hoop
and made a wreath using Tropical Chic and Climbing Orchid.
As you can see, they pair wonderfully together!!
For the leaves, I used the Tropical Thinlits to cut
Garden Green, Call Me Clover and Shaded Spruce.
By using a variety of shades of green, you create the perception of depth.
Since I planned to shape the orchids, I stamped them on
Thick Whisper White in Fresh Fig.
Then, I sponged on Lemon Lime Twist before
cutting, shaping and layering.
If you’re ready for something new for the house, try this!
It’s easy to whip up!!
Thanks for stopping in and checking out my Tropical Chic and Climbing Orchid Wreath!
You’ll want to be sure to make the rounds of the rest of today’s

This totally rocks. I love the combo of the orchids and tropical leaves and the fact that using only half a hoop, makes it look like a basket. Just gorgeous.
Thanks Bronwyn! I hadn’t thought about a basket … now my wheels are turning.
Very clever, and so easily adaptable for any season 😊
