Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. As you know if you’re a regular visitor, I create lots of cards! But my lovely Stampin’ Up! products can be used for so many other things! Today, I’m here to share some home decor inspiration as part of the Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop July 2018. We’ve got lots of ideas for you! And while I hope you’ll be a regular visitor, we’ll hop again on August 21.
Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop July 2018
My inspiration started with the gorgeous
Garden Impressions designer paper!
And, it’s your lucky month!!
This designer paper is part of the designer paper BOGO.

After I picked my designer paper,
I filled out the rest of my color combination.
Today, I used Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Call Me Clover and Night of Navy.
Summer, to me, means more gatherings.
The Garden Impressions designer paper is perfect for
creating summer table decor.
In fact, using just one pattern I an create
place settings for 12!
Or, you can mix and match!!
For the accent on my utensil holder,
I used the flower from Beautiful Day.
First, I stamped it in Smoky Slate on Whisper White.
Then, I colored it in with Stampin’ Blends.
You can find the color selection in the product guide below.
It almost looks like a watercolor!
After cutting it out by hand, I tucked in some of the Leaf Ribbon
before adhering the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
And if you’re like me, you keep looking at the Oui Yogurt jars and thinking,
“I know I can do something with these.”
So, I did!
Using the Leaf Ribbon, I quickly upcycled the jar to become a votive holder
at each place.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my Beautiful Day place setting!

I love this idea, so pretty and so versatile to adapt to any season or occasion. Can you supply the dimensions for the cutlery holder please?
I love what you did with the Oui yogurt jars!!! I have collected these ‘just in case’ I run across a great idea other than a vase for flowers!!! Your silverware holder is very cute as well!
Thanks Libby! This use of the jar is a least one way to use them. And it’s easy!
Love your project. Just ordered my second pack of the papers as love them so much.
Thanks Cheryl! Enjoy creating some pretty new projects with your paper.
Lovely idea for a dinner party, thank you for sharing
Thank you Laura! It’s fun to create little things for entertaining.
Beautiful ideas for decorating the table. I love the votive holder and the place setting is a lovely way to display the silverware.
Thanks Tricia! I’ll be coming up with more ways to use those jars — stay tuned 😉
Wow, Sara! When you put that on the table it’s already an amazing gathering. Love the colors and the rose is magnificent! Thank you so much for organising this hop every month, it’s so inspiring.
Thanks Danielle! So glad you liked this project!! And the hop is my pleasure — so many fun ideas for using Stampin’ Up! products 🙂
