Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker. Today is the Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop January 2021. We’ll be sharing some inspiration for using your Stampin’ Up! stamps, ink and paper to make home decor.

For this month’s Home Decor Hop, we’re sharing creations using Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog and Sale a Bration products. I chose to use the beautiful Berry Delightful designer paper from the Berry Blessings Bundle. See the details for this Sale a Bration product HERE

In my daughter’s department at work, clipboards kept disappearing. So, we made personalized clipboards for each of her management team. It was fun picking the designer papers!
You’ll start with a piece of 12″ x 12″ designer paper. Here, I’m using the Berry Delightful designer paper from Sale a Bration.
Set the clipboard on the wrong side of the designer paper with the rivets for the clip above the top of edge of the paper. Then trace the clipboard and cut out. I used my Paper Trimmer, then finished the curves with my Paper Snips. Quick and easy cutting!!

Next, adhere the designer paper with Mod Podge. I prefer the matte finish. And let it dry completely.
Then, add a strip of washi (or other temporary tape) to the top edge of the designer paper. Paint the exposed bit of the clipboard with Mod Podge and add Gilded Leafing. Press the Gilded Leafing into the Mod Podge with a Blending Brush and set the clipboard aside to dry. Once dry, add a layer of Mod Podge over the Gilded Leafing.

Each clipboard needed a name on the back. I used the retired Large Letters Framelits for this. They are the perfect size.
To coordinate with the Berry Delightful designer paper, this name was cut from Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
To make aligning the name easy, after measuring the spacing from the edge, I used some washi to temporarily tape my ruler in place. This made it super easy to make sure my letters were straight! Again, I used Mod Podge to adhere the letters.
Tip: Lay out the entire name before adhering so that spacing is even. Then pick up one letter at a time to apply Mod Podge and stick down.

Ta da! The finished clipboard. These were a hit with her team!! They appreciated both the thought and the time that went into personalizing them.
