Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker. And one of the things I love to make are 3D items!! That’s where the Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop April 2020 comes in. The Home Decor hop gives me a chance to make bigger 3D items.

Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop April 2020

My friend and fellow demonstrator, Christine Versluis from the Netherlands,
created this amazing A Place Called Hope card.
As you can imagine, it speaks to me — particularly now.
And when I started thinking about what to make for today’s hop,
her card was the inspiration.
Welcome Hope Door Banner

After finishing this banner on Sunday afternoon,
I can’t tell you how happy it made me to place it on my front door.
In fact, I was a little worried at first that I didn’t have any sticky tack.
I’m hoping it provides a ray of sunshine for anyone who sees it.
Though we’re not having any visitors right now, there are still deliveries
and customers making porch pick ups.

After adding a watercolor wash in Seaside Spray to the Whisper White background,
I added letters die cut from Basic Black with the Hand-Lettered Prose Dies.
To accent the “home” to “hope” word, I used the tag die from Wild Rose Dies in Seaside Spray.
And, added the “p” in Lovely Lipstick.

This is a great time to be a flower loving paper crafter!
There are soo many great Stampin’ Up! dies and punches to use for making flowers!!
First, I stamped leaves from To A Wild Rose in Pear Pizzazz.
The stamped leaves are a nice contrast to the colored cardstock pieces.
Next, it was time to die cut and punch So Saffron, Seaside Spray, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick, Old Olive Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White.
You can find the dies and punches I used in the product list below.
Before adhering, scrunch some and shape others with your Bone Folder and Take Your Pick tool.
Be sure to hang your Welcome Hop door banner where it can bring some joy!
