Have You Done It Yet?

I have!  I couldn’t wait, the first time is always the most exciting. After ogling my many options, I was torn between a temporary bow and a lasting romance.  I’m was looking for more than a one card stand.  Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of room in this creative heart for some new loves.  Leave me a comment and let me know which mail order loves will be first to your house.

Today, I have new Weekly Deals.  Plus, instead of new digital downloads by the week they will be introduced each month and today’s the day.  There’s also a new creative share and the stamp set to be used for #stampingsunday.

Now on to today’s bit of creativity.  I had to dabble with one of the new In Colors today.  I haven’t quite played my way through the entire group.  It will come.  They’re all great!

Lost Lagoon and Island Indigo are gorgeous together. I was thinking that it’s time to do a masculine card especially as Father’s Day is on the way.  And though the color combination is gorgeous, that doesn’t keep it from being masculine.

The Hardwood Stamp was inked with Island Indigo.  Then a layer of Mossy Meadow that has been cut with the Chevron punch was added.  The three triangles from Geometrical were inked with Mossy Meadow and stamped on Old Olive.  Love the contrast.  Finally, the sentiment was added.  The simple strip was pumped up a little by adding a couple of the chevrons left over from punching the center panel.

Easy card.  Once you’ve got this made  then all you need is a tie and you’re ready for Father’s Day.

Now for #stampingsunday.  On June 8, we will be using Chalk Talk.

So, put your thinking cap on and get your creative juices flowing.  Make something with Chalk Talk and then post it to your social media on Sunday using the hashtag #stampingsunday.
