I worked on my card this morning before running off to teach Sunday school. Today, we were finishing up an art project that ties into a recent lesson. After grabbing a quick lunch, it was time to set up for my afternoon class. We’re making the Perpetual Birthday Calendars. They’re a cute kit in the Annual Catalog — good for you or as a gift.
While I’ve got some time before class, I thought I’d get my card posted.
I’ve used Grateful Bunch today and combined it with two challenges that I have not participated in before – CTS154 and CTD374. Here’s what I came up with:
The color scheme for this card is Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon and Smoky Slate.
The card starts with a Calypso Coral base to which a single layer of Whisper White has been added.
First, I stamped the leaf image in Smoky Slate.
Then,
I stamped four groups of flowers from Grateful Bunch; two in Calypso Coral and two in Lost Lagoon.
After punching the flowers with the coordinating Blossom Bunch Punch, I adhered some directly to the Whisper White layer and some with dimensionals.
Last, and always the scariest for me, I stamped the sentiment from Grateful Bunch directly on the Whisper White layer in Calypso Coral.
Easy, cute card that’s perfect as a “thank you” or a “just because” pick me up!
