Grateful Bunch Black and White Card

I’m off for an exciting day in New York City!  The school orchestra is taking a trip in to expose them to some new music and options that are available for musicians.  I’m lucky enough to get to tag along.  It’s a double header today.  We’ll be attending a performance at Lincoln Center after lunch and then we’ll have dinner and an evening show.  I’ll share more tomorrow.  Right now, I want to share my creation and then run to get dressed for the day.

I used Grateful Bunch and created a quick, clean and simple card.

I started by stamping the lace trim image.  Then carefully masking it off, I added two bunches of the stems.  Next, I masked an area of the stems and added a partial stem.  And finally, one more partial stem was added.  This gave me a good background with which to work.

I inked and stamped two clusters of the flowers and punched them with the coordinating Blossom Bunch punch.

Though it’s a clean and simple card, I thought it needed a little embellishment.  So, I pulled out my Basic Pearls.  I’ve used the medium and large pearls in some of the flowers. On the largest flowers, I created a clustered center with the small pearls.
