Good morning! It’s been a busy couple of days here. Good busy though! I finished up my swaps for OnStage on Monday and headed off to Salt Lake City yesterday. But, I haven’t forgotten about you in all of the excitement. I’ve created some things to share while I’m away. If you want to see some of what I’m up to here — check out my Facebook and Twitter. I’ll be posting there over the next few days. And while you’re here, check out my Graceful Garden Clean and Simple card.

Graceful Garden Clean and Simple

I started with a Real Red cardstock base and a layer of Whisper White.
Then, I inked my image from Graceful Garden with Memento ink and stamped off.
This gave me a gray outline to work with.

Next, I colored the flower with a combination of Light and Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.
There are also hints of Light Daffodil Delight.
Moving on to the stem and leaves, I used Light and Dark Old Olive with hints of Light Daffodil Delight.
Once the rose was colored, I cut a mask for the rose.
Then, I stamped the background image and embossed in gold.
To finish this clean and simple card, I used three Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
