I have to share a funny story. At least, we thought it was funny. My daughter came to me last night and said that she might have lost her mouthpiece. I asked if she had looked for it in x, y, and z place. Yes, yes and yes. She stated that it might be in her shoe and went and looked. Nope! Did you check everything in the garment bag? Yes. The jacket and pants pockets? Yes. Check again.
We all know that checking is often just opening the refrigerator door (for example) and just standing there or in this case, I’m thinking the garment bag got unzipped but not much else. She comes back down and says that she found the mouthpiece in her pants pocket. Then she says, “Do you have any idea how deep that pocket is? Three quarters of my arm fits in the pocket. I think I could probably reach half way to China before I reach the bottom of that pocket it’s so deep.. How do moms always find stuff? I bet if someone had put a mom in charge, that Lost City of Atlantis would’nt still be lost. Just sayin'” I was laughing so hard by the time she finished…she was too.
On to creativity:
In my quest for a variety of things to create with my new tool, the Gift Bag Punch Board (135862), I’ve come up with a second box. This one is a Tuck Top Box.
This box was made from Basic Black cardstock. I’ve used the new Bohemian designer paper (138446) and Delightful Dijon lace trim (138426) that I received with my pre order goodies to embellish it. The sentiment is from Balloon Bash and is inked in Memento Tuxedo Black on Very Vanilla and then punched with the 2 1/2″ Circle punch. I love that some of this year’s designer paper has a Very Vanilla background.
So how do you make this cute box?
Take a look at this short video “how to”.
