I just can’t quit playing with this thing – the Gift Bag Punch Board! I’m having so much fun coming up with a variety of ways to use this new tool. Today, I’ve created a Pouch Style Envelope. This is either the third or fourth variation and I’m thinking about continuing with variations through the rest of the week. I’ve already got one in the works for tomorrow.
Today started with a card using Bermuda Bay and the new Bohemian designer series paper.
–
There’s a layer of Bermuda Bay cardstock that has been embossed with the Arrows embossing folder. To this layer was added strips from two of the rolls of Bohemian washi. Next came the Bohemian designer series paper banner. On the top of the banner you’ll find another piece of the Bohemian washi and a Gold Bakers Twine bow.
The sentiment is from You’ve Got this and is inked with Bermuda Bay on Very Vanilla. The sentiment is backed by a 2 1/2″ circle of Blackberry Bliss.
When I finished the card, I wanted a Pouch Style Envelope. A little bit of playing later and I had one.
Check out this video so that you too can use the Gift Bag Punch Board to make this style envelope and liner.

Hi Sara,
Video is great. Love the card and matching envelope.
I was trying to make the envelope and I’m just a tad off…
Measuring from the start line where did you make your tick mark?
Thanks in advance,
Jayne
Jayne ~ it looks like the mark should be 13/16 to the left of the start line. Once everything is scored and ready to adhere, be sure you line up the two edges rather than just folding straight across. This will give the envelope a very slight bow – makes it easier to insert a card.
