Whew! Another busy week down. We started with the Memorial Day Parade on Monday. Tuesday saw the Junior Classical League awards complete with togas. Wednesday was a performance at the Kimmel Center. Thursday, we enjoyed the senior recital. Friday? Who knows? Saturday was dance, a cello recital and work on team project. Today started with team projects at 6am, followed by dance photos and more team project work. As you can tell from my blog, some of this has kept me from completing anything creative to share. But, that early call today allowed me to get two projects and videos completed. So how about some sharing!?
A busy week needs quick cards.
I created this set of clean and simple cards using You’ve Got This.
Then, I decided they’d be great as a gift.
So, I needed packaging and turned to the Gift Bag Punch Board.
Altering the dimensions for a bag, I’ve created one into which A2 (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) cards will fit.
I am loving this punch board!!
And, here are a couple of the cards.
This card starts with a Crushed Curry base and then adds a layer of Whisper White. The focal image was inked in Crushed Curry. Finally, there’s a quick accent strip of Cherry on Top washi near the bottom.
And this second card….
started with a Bermuda Bay base and a Whisper White layer.
Employing a little masking, I added a second flower to the stem.
This card is also accented with some Cherry on Top washi plus a trio of
Bermuda Bay sequins.
Check back tomorrow for another variation on the Gift Bag Punch Board.
Create something today,
Retiring products will be gone on June 2.
Please leave a comment, I love to hear what you have to say!
