From the North Pole November 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit 3 Alternate Christmas Cards

 

Earlier in the week I shared my unboxing and how to make the three Christmas gift tags designed for the kit.  As promised there, I’m back with how I’m turning those three gift tags into Christmas cards.

From the North Pole Alternate Christmas Card 1

 

For this first alternate card, I used the tag with the yummy Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper.  I love Glimmer Paper – just can’t resist the sparkle 😂

While the stamped image says “express delivery”, I decided it worked equally well conveying seasonal greetings.

To turn this tag into a card, I added a card base and a couple of layers.  Plus, you’ll notice some watercoloring and Wonderful Snowflakes to add texture.  And to finish, there’s a twist of the blingy Metallic Mesh Ribbon.

It’s amazing to me how bright a cheery the combination of Cherry Cobbler and Sweet Sorbet are!  The Candy Cane Dies were used to die cut the peekaboo layer that provides the perfect backdrop for the second From the North Pole gift tag.

After layering onto a Crumb Cake base, I added a few leaves cut from Gold Metallic Paper (from the Annual Catalog.

And to finish this card, I doubled up on the ribbon using both the Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon and the Sweet Sorbet Metallic Ribbon.

And for this final alternate Christmas card in the trio, I used a combination of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake.

To create my background design, I used a stamp from the October 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit.  I love that once the guts of a kit are used, you still have the stamps and mini ink pad!  They come in handy!!

And to finish this final alternative Paper Pumpkin card for the day, I used the Silver Threaded Twine from the July to December Mini Catalog.
