Forever Blossoms Kwanzan Cherry

I created this card for today’s Global Stampin Video Hop.

Our theme for the hop is Spring flowers.

And one of my favorite Spring flowers isn’t really a flower but a blossom.

I just love the frilly blossoms on the Kwanzan Cherry Tree

and had to try to recreate them!

For the base layer on my card,

I’ve used the Parisian Blossom 3D Embossing Folder.

The large swirls and floral accents in this embossing folder are a great way to add texture to this floral card or just add a little detail under a sentiment.

Next is a stripe of Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Paper,

using one of the foiled prints.

Over that is the Forever Blossoms sprig.

Then, I created dimensional flowers to add some of that frilly appearance of the Kwanzan Cherry blossoms.

The sentiment is cut out with the Classic Label Punch

and layered over a piece of Rococo Rose Gathered Ribbon

that has been folded into ruffles.

Then, finish with a few Peal Basic Jewels.
