Flying Home Mother’s Day Card

Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin aka the artful inker.  Today, I’m thinking Mother’s Day and Spring.  I think my Flying Home Mother’s Day Card has achieved that combination.  Plus it’s a nice twist on a Mother’s Day card.

Flying Home Mother’s Day Card

 

 

For my card, I started with a Soft Sky card base.

Then, I added a layer of Whisper White followed by some Fresh Florals designer paper.

That designer paper is so fresh and springy looking!

 

 

After stamping the momma bird and nest from Flying Home,

I cut with a Layering Circles Framelit.

To color in the image, I used a Blender Pen with Soft Sky, Soft Suede

and Lemon Lime Twist ink pads.

Next, I tucked in Leaf Punches in Lemon Lime Twist.

And I finished with a Labeler Alphabet sentiment in Soft Sky –

“you are the tweetest”.

 

 

To finish the inside, I added a Whisper White mat

and a strip of Basics Pack 2 washi.
