Flurry of Wishes Christmas Card for PP273

As I mentioned yesterday, I’m in Christmas card making mode.  So if you haven’t settled on a design yet or you still need to make a few more, be sure to check back in each day this week.  I had a quick play with Flurry of Wishes today before I head out to Christkindlmarkt.  This is a wonderful craft fair that goes on for 4 or 5 weekends in a row (depending on how many weeks there are between Thanksgiving and Christmas).  We’ve made a tradition of heading out this weekend for our first look.  Though we generally pop in another time or two as vendors change.

I’ve combined Flurry of Wishes with PP273.  This week it’s a tic tac toe challenge.

This card starts with a Blackberry Bliss base followed by a Whisper White focal layer.

I used the background stamp from You’ve Got This and embossed in Silver.

After stamping the large snowflake in the corner for a little emboss resist, I rubbed the “resisted” ink around the edges of the background image to bring in a second tone of the Blackberry Bliss.

Next, I added layers of Into the Woods designer paper and White Glitter ribbon.

To add a little more shimmer to the card, I used the Two Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds to accent the largest snowflake.

Then after adding the two smaller snowflakes, they all got a Basic Rhinestone for their centers.
