I’ve been playing with my Flower Patch stamps again today and in the process of making my card to share with you, I recorded a video with a quick tip for stamping with photopolymer stamps.
Flower Patch Card
I used the large dahlia like image again today and inked it in Real Red. Knowing that I wanted to layer a couple of these images, I decided to do a little experimenting. Taking out my Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities, I used them to created some shading on the bottom flower. That flower now looks as if it’s a little bit of a shadow. The Blendabilities worked quite well over the Real Red ink.
And, I just had to use the Striped Scallop thinlit again today as I was so pleased with how it looked yesterday. The Real Red, Basic Black and Old Olive remind me of one of the cute outfits that I saw in the audience yesterday as I watched Sleeping Beauty performed by Twin Rivers Dance Academy.
I’ve added a little shimmer to the center of the top flower with Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details.
By using the coordinating Flower Fair framelits, this was a quick, easy card with a lot of pop.
