Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  And I am so, so, so excited today!!  I’ve been semi locked out of my computer for 3 days — uggh!  But just a bit ago, I figured out a work around to get in and more important — I am now able to get to most of my files again.  I’m sure you can relate to the level of relief.  For your inspiration, I’m sharing a First Frost embossed card.
 

First Frost Embossed Card

 

 

For this card, I used a Thick Very Vanilla base with

a tight Blackberry Bliss mat.

 

 

Over that I have a piece of Sahara Sand stamped with an image from

Graceful Garden and embossed with gold.

Then, I ran this layer through the Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder.

In the lower right, I added Frosted Bouquet die cut leaves that

I embossed with the Quilt Top embossing folder.

As an accent, I added a single large Pearl.

 

 

To build the focal flower layer, I started with a piece of

1/8″ Gold Cord layered with a Vellum Stitched Shapes circle.

Next, I added some tall greenery pieces and

layered with loops of Gold Metallic Thread

and a Blackberry Bliss Frosted Bouquet tag.

Then, I layered on berries and flowers to finish.
