I’ve had a lovely play this morning! Puttering back and forth between adding this and walking away to fill in a couple of lines of my crossword puzzle and then wondering back to add a little more. Sometimes I’m more creative if I’m thinking about something else — kind of crazy, right!? Like with this Everything Eleanor and Large Numbers Framelits for GDP15 card.

Everything Eleanor and Large Numbers Framelits for GDP15
I wasn’t going to share anything from my pre-order until closer to the catalog launch date because….it’s not fair to share when you can’t have it too (unless you are/become a demonstrator). But, I wanted to create a card for New Year’s and I just knew this new set of framelits would be just the ticket! And then…okay…I admit it!! I wanted to play with some of my new toys!!!
Here’s my New Year’s card:
It’s a shaker card of a different sort!
I’ve combined Everything Eleanor and the new Large Number Framelits (available January 5, 2016 – or now if you join my team of ProCraftinators) for GDP15.
My shaker card is made from one of the pockets on a 12 x 12 Project Life by Stampin’ Up! pocket page.
I stamped the “swoosh” from Everything Eleanor in Versamark onto a piece of Vellum cardstock and heat embossed in silver.
After inserting the Vellum piece into the pocket, I added sequins from the Silver and Blushing Bride Sequin Trims and the Metallics Sequin Assortment. Next, I punched 1/4″ circles of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and 1/8″ circles of Blushing Bride cardstock and added them to the pocket.
After sealing the pocket,
I added a Whisper White cardstock banner. Then using the “Happy Birthday” stamp from Tin of Cards, I masked and then stamped the “happy” onto a piece of Blushing Bride. “Happy” was then embossed in silver.
Using the Large Numbers framelits, I cut “2016” from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper. The numbers are attached with dimensionals to create a little more visual appeal.
Enjoy!

Super idea to use the PL pocket! I love it! My new numbers are still sitting in my BBB – just waiting for a chance to get them out for some play time too. Thanks for the inspiration and for joining the Global Design Project this week!

I’ve been eying off this stamp set for 2 years. I love what you have done with it. In particular the sequins scream celebration!
