Okay, I admit it. I am the worst about taking pictures. But, it’s not all my fault. Honest. I enjoy photos and scrapbooks. I make albums. But here’s what usually happens:
- I take the camera along and forget to take it out and use it.
- The batteries are dead.
- The pictures come out blurry.
- There has been software update and the control button works differently and I don’t figure it out quickly enough.
- I think I will be able to get copies of the pictures someone else took.
Show of hands. How many of these apply to you? It’s gotten to be a joke here. My daughter dutifully acknowledges the camera when it makes and appearance and shows no surprise at all when the photos are a bust.
But, I still go about creating scrapbook pages in the hopes of filling them one day. So for me, My Digital Studio is perfect. I can create to my heart’s content and save the pages so they’re ready when the miracle occurs.
I recently added This and That Epic Day download to my collection and wanted to take it for a test drive this evening.
Notice the big white space in the upper right? That’s where the photo will go – maybe…someday.
The background paper, hexagons, journaling box, triangles, tickets, arrow and fill for the chevrons are all from the This and That Epic Day Kit download. The Ink Splatters are part of the basic program. The chevrons are a punch download. And the Honeycomb is from the Lemonade Stand download. I didn’t even know I had the Honeycomb. I found it when I was looking for something to add texture to my page. There are so many pieces that come in each kit, it really can be like opening a present each time you look for pieces to add to your digital creation.
This was a fun way to spend a little time this evening. And no clean up. Now, if I just had a picture…
Love your blog! You are so amazingly talented!
