Elegant Flower Patch

A couple of weeks ago, I created a wedding gift card holder using the Lullaby designer series paper.  I just loved the color combination in the piece that I chose to use.  That was on my mind today when I was thinking about what to make.  It certainly influenced my decision to to concentrate on Blushing Bride and Gold on a Very Vanilla background.

I used the new Flower Patch and What’s Your Type? photopolymer stamp sets along with the Flower Fair framelits.

I created a set of concentric circles in Gold Baker’s Twine.  They make a neat little accent.

Using the Large Polka Dot embossing folder, I embossed the Very Vanilla base layer.  Then I used the solid and striped circles in What’s Your Type? to randomly stamp in some of the embossed dots.

Adding a few Stampin’ Dimensionals under leaves and flowers, this layer was ready to be adhered to the Very Vanilla cardstock base.  Simple and elegant.
