Eclectic Expressions with Tutti Frutti Card

Hi!  Welcome to my blog today.  I’m getting ready to make a whirlwind trip to Pittsburgh to see my daughter.  She’s playing for a play.  And I’m so excited to hear her!!  I haven’t heard her play for almost two years.  Oh…and I’m pretty excited to just see her too!  It’s just dinner and the show and then time to head home.  She’s in the middle of mid-terms.  Before packing, I created an Eclectic Expressions with Tutti Frutti Card.  This one is a thank you.  I’m always in need of thank you cards!

Eclectic Expressions with Tutti Frutti Card

 

 

When I saw the second Sale A Bration product offering, I knew right away

that I wanted Eclectic Expressions.

I love all of the little splotchy design bits as well as two very useful sentiments.

Well you could probably tell that already since,

I’ve used the set several times in the last week.

Today, I created my card on one of the Tutti Frutti card bases.

I added layers of Flirty Flamingo and Basic Gray.

 

 

After stamping a random pattern of images from Eclectic Expressions,

I began to layer on details.

For this I used: washi, a partial punch, partial die cuts, and a piece of a Delicate Doily.

To color my doily, I spritzed it with a combination of Calypso Coral Ink refill and alcohol.

 

 

After tying a big loose Baker’s Twine bow, I tucked in a piece of Smoky Slate at the top

and added my focal layer to the card.

Final details are a few Metallic Sequins and Pearl Basic Jewels.
