My daughter is home! Yay!! We were up late last night chatting. And the talking began as soon as she was up this morning. Since my wifi is still acting up, we have been out to lunch with wifi — and chatted. That’s been the theme of the day — “and we chatted”. While I was waiting for the wifi to come on this afternoon, I played some more with my new supplies. Today it was Eastern Medallions and Eastern Beauty. I’m busy figuring out how all the different pieces and images coordinate and the many ways to use and expand them. There’s lost of coordination! Let me show you what I figured out today — before we chatted…more.
Eastern Medallions and Eastern Beauty
I started with a Thick Whisper White base
and then added a layer of Whisper White.
Then I used one of the small circles from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits to
cut several filigree circles from
Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist.
After die cutting the filigree, I figured out that I could use
the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch to cut out the design.
Next, the Fine Tip Glue Pen was used to
adhere the die cuts in a random pattern.
I think the sentiment is a show stopper!
That showcases another one of the things I figured out today!!
I stamped the outside circle from Eastern Beauty in Berry Burst.
Then, I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst.
Finally, I stamped the smaller inside circle in Lemon Lime Twist.
That’s when an idea hit me!
Tip: The spacing between the two circles is just right to fit one of the middle size circle dies from
Eastern Medallions.
After die cutting the filigree, I realized I could cut the whole piece out
using the 2″ Circle Punch!
I love the way the Eastern Medallions and Eastern Beauty combined for that sentiment!
I finished the card with Silver Metallic Thread and some new Glitter Enamel Dots.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Eastern Medallions and Eastern Beauty card.
