Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin theartfulinker. Today, I’ve got a fun new fold to share with you!! Scroll on down and check out my Dressed To Impress Theater Fold birthday card. And, don’t forget the video and tutorial download.

For this week’s The Spot Creative Challenge 109
we’re asked to make something other than a “standard” card.
Below is my design team card.
You can join in the challenge!
Dressed To Impress Theater Fold Card

The timing of this week’s challenge was perfect,
as I needed to make a birthday card for someone special!
I’ve used the Best Dressed Designer Paper (retiring)
and the Dressed to Impress stamp set to decorate my card.

Here you can catch a glimpse of the inside of the card
through the Stitched Rectangle die cut
as one begins to open the card.

And, here’s a look at the theater fold card fully open.
My daughter was tickled by this card!
And fully agrees with being as bold as one’s lipstick — which should be bold!

Thank you soooo much for the video with concise directions and easy-to-follow steps. I also appreciate the printable measurements. I wish I had found you before I made this card using another video that dragged on for over thirty minutes and left me scrambling to transcribe directions and measurements!
You’re welcome, Becky! I’m glad you found the video and PDF for the Theater Card helpful!!
Hello!
A lovely card. I´d like to do it for the fiftieth birthday of a friend of mine. Thank you very much for sharing it with us!
Will you please tell me where I can get the floral motif to decorate it? Can I buy it here to print? Thanks in advance.
Love. Adriana <3
Hi, Adriana! Happy birthday to your friend!! She will love a card in this style. The paper shown has retired but, you could easily substitute the Pansy Petals or Hand Penned designer papers. They both have a pretty floral design. You can find both of them in my store
I am unable to open the measurements.
Hi Mary Lee ~ It’s a PDF file so, you’ll need Adobe Reader (which is free to download from the internet). I’ve just checked the file to make sure that it opens correctly and had no problems.
Awesome card. You make it look so simple…not so sure! Thank you
Thanks, Pearl! I won’t lie and say it’s simple. But if you cut the pieces and follow along with each step of the video, it is quite doable and will make more sense than just doing one or the other.
