It’s raining here today so, we’ve gotten a slow start. We spent some time watching the barge traffic move along the river. Then, we grabbed a quick breakfast. While I’m preparing this post, my daughter is reading interesting articles to me. I love it! But, it does make it hard to concentrate since I want to listen and discuss with her. When I’m done, we’re going to arm knit a scarf and then have lunch before I have to start the drive home. And for you, I’ve got a Dragonfly Dreams with Falling Flowers card.

Dragonfly Dreams with Falling Flowers
For my card today I’ve used Dragonfly Dreams again. But, it’s quite different from yesterday’s look.
I’ve used a Very Vanilla base followed by a Basic Gray layer.
The Delightful Dijon layer has been run through the new Hexagon Dynamics Embossing Folder — LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the almost 3D effect!!
Tip: Spritz your cardstock with alcohol before using this embossing folder. Moistening the cardstock helps it to take on lots of texture and keeps the cardstock from cracking. The alcohol will dry quickly.
The bumble bee from Dragonfly Dreams was inked in Momento Black and stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock.
Then, the bees were cut out with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits.
The flowers are from Falling Flowers. They were inked with Tangerine Tango and stamped on Tangerine Tango.
The leaves are also from Falling Flowers. They were inked in Wild Wasabi and stamped on Wild Wasabi.
Flower and leaves were cut out with the May Flowers Thinlits.
The bumble bees, flowers and Delightful Dijon layer were all attached with Dimensionals.
To finish, I added three Basic Pearls.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Dragonfly Dreams with Falling Flowers card.
