I’m excited and quite nervous!! Folks from Stampin’ Up! will be swinging by and looking at(judging) my creations to see if they meet the standard for Display Stampers. I’m hoping to be selected for this opportunity. It’s a chance to share my style at OnStage and to play with some specific products that Stampin’ Up! has in mind. Sounds like a fun creative challenge to me!!

For my first card, I used Paisleys and Posies.
There’s a partial Lemon Lime Twist layer over the Basic Black base.
The focal layer has been splattered with Melon Mambo ink refill.
And, I tinted some Embossing Paste and added it through a Pattern Party Decorative Mask.

My second card uses a Thick Whisper White base followed by a layer of Emerald Envy.
Then, I used the Oxidized Ink Technique to create a background layer.
After embossing flowers from Oh So Eclectic in gold,
I added a die cut flower and leaves to round out the card.

For my third card, I started with a base of Powder Pink.
Then, I added a layer of Watercolor Paper where I used Powder Pink ink refill
and an Aqua Painter to flood the layer.
The strips of Fresh Florals designer paper play nicely with the watercolor background.
One accent strip of Copper Foil takes on a pink tone.
The card is finished with a sentiment and stamped flowers from Bloomin’ Love.
Then, it was embellished with Copper Metallic Thread.

I created this mixed media a couple of weeks ago using Melon Mambo ink refill, Embossing Paste,
one of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and gold Embossing Powder.
My decor gift needed a gift box!
So, I created a Basic Black cardstock box sized for the mixed media block.
Then, I created a belly band from Melon Mambo.
A trio of Eastern Medallions Thinlits makes the perfect decorative accent!!

Next, I created a piece of framed art.
My daughter will be heading back to college soon (it seems soon anyway).
I decided to tweak a quote most of us have heard.
“Be A Goal Digger” seemed like the perfect inspirational message for the year to come.
I used the Large Letters Framelits to cut the letters from Whisper White cardstock.
The top and bottom row of words are selectively stamped with images from Lovely Friends.
And for the word “goal”, I die cut one of the gorgeous Striped Treat Bags.
The gold stripes are a play on the tweaked quote!

My final project is a scrapbook page using some of my daughter’s prom photos.
The backdrop for the prom was an old steel site.
I wanted to carry the look of the rusted metal in the photo backgrounds onto the page.
So, I used the Oxidized Metal Technique.

I added Pick a Pattern washi, sequins from the Metallics Assortment,
and some of the cool 1/4″ Copper Trim.

I even tucked in a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock cut with the Eastern Medallions Thinlits.
It too was treated with the Oxidized Metal Technique.
