Delicate Dahlias Slimline Card

My daughter requested a thank you card for a visiting trainer at work.  So, I created this pretty slimline card.  There’s room inside for a message from the team and signatures to let her know how much they appreciated her time and knowledge.

 

I used the Delicate Dahlias larger flower in Daffodil Delight and inked the leaves in Granny Apple Green.  These colors pair nicely with the Night of Navy card base.

And to give the focal layer a little more interest, I filled part of the space with a background created using a Basic Patterns Mask and a  kind of ombre effect.
