Deals, Debuts and #stampingsunday

Thanks for stopping by today! I’m traveling home from the beach today and switching suitcases so that I can head off for Salt Lake City and Stampin’ Up! Convention at the crack of stupid tomorrow.
The trip was wonderful and I wish we could do it more often. But, the kids are all older and there are lots of busy schedules.
Today, I have new Weekly Deals for you.

Now for today’s creation, I used What’s Your Type? and created a repeating pattern. I think this makes for a good masculine card.

What's Your Type? Pattern card from

The two bars were inked in Night of Navy. By rotating the block each time I stamped, I created a changing pattern with these two elements.

Using the Chevron punch, I punched Mossy Meadow and used two of the chevron pieces to layer over the end of the stamped pattern.

A strip of Crushed Curry was added behind the focal layer before adding it to the Night of Navy card base.

What's Your Type? bars

My trick for spacing the bars on the acrylic block and making sure they were straight? I placed the block over the printed image of the bars and added the bars to the block. Isn’t see through wonderful?

This week’s #stampingsunday stamp set is also from the photopolymer family. We’ll be using Flower Patch. If you’d like to join us, simply create something using Flower Patch and post it to your social media using the hashtag #stampingsunday.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for my Convention special.
