It’s time for the Creation Station wedding tour! Thanks for joining us. We’ve got lots of creative ideas in store for you this week. Our theme this for this tour is Wedding and we’re highlighting Traveler and World Map stamps and the new Gift Card Enclosure Pack. I’ve chosen to concentrate on the Wedding theme.
Creation Station Wedding Tour
Gift Card Enclosure
For my first project, I’ve used a Gift Card Enclosure.
The Gift Card Enclosures come in a pack of 10 and are pre-scored and ready to use. I created a template of the Gift Card Enclosure so that I could cover it in designer paper.
Spiral Roses
For part of my decoration, I used the Spiral Flower die, the Silicone Craft Sheet and my hot glue gun. I created a two tone rose to use as my closure on my creation. You can see a video here to learn how to make them. The Crisp Cantaloup and Brushed Gold cardstock really compliment the Lullaby designer paper.
Just love the elegant color combination. Finishing touches were a Basic Pearl in the center of the rose and a piece of Gold Sequin Trim. The trim is long enough to wrap the rose twice and is hot glued just beside the rose, leaving both tails loose.

Perfect Pennants Wedding Card
For my second creation, I stayed with the wedding theme. I used Perfect Pennants which is the #stampingsunday product this week. One of the sentiments in this set is a real favorite of mine and I think it’s perfect for a wedding.
Since I just received the Striped Scallop thinlit and had to play with it. I really loved the color combination from the previous project and wanted to stay in that range. For my neutral color, but dressed up, I went with Brushed Gold cardstock. That soft, shimmery gold scallop is great for the front of the card. To soften the Crisp Cantaloup base, I added a layer of Vellum cardstock. And to accent the Striped Scallop (though it’s great all on it’s own), I randomly placed sequins, from the Gold Sequin Trim, that were topped with Basic Pearls.
The sentiment was inked with Versamark, stamped on Crisp Cantaloup and then heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. You may notice a gold embossed line under “wonderful”. This is not part of the stamp but a case where I caught an edge in the ink – aka a happy accident. I LOVE that “wonderful” ended up with an underline.
To finish, the sentiment was cut with a Banners framelit. Then a strip of Basic Pearls was added to the top of the banner. This piece was then added to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
TIP: So that the glue would not show through my Vellum layer, I first glued the Striped Scallop layer to the Vellum. Then, I only added multipurpose glue to the back of the Vellum layer where the Striped Scallop layer was seen. This way, no glue is in the open spaces.

Love your colour palette – so soft and pretty. Your dressed up gift card holder is my favourite – just gorgeous with the flower and those gold sequins. Thanks for sharing!
Such pretty colors! Love the Crisp Cantaloupe and gold combinations! The double layer flower on the gift card enclosure is to die for!!
Kathy, thanks! I’m loving the Lullaby designer paper. The colors are great for all sorts of things not baby. And the Spiral Flower die flower variations can’t be beat. I have really enjoyed it’s versatility.
These are beautiful!!!
Thank you MaryJo! Enjoy the tour.
Those projects are beautiful – love your color combo…..I happened to go the same route this week!!! 🙂
Thanks Jen!! Can’t wait to see what you’ve created.
Fabulous projects, Sara! I love the elegance and you’ve sold me on the Striped Scallop Die!
Thanks Cindy! The Striped Scallop die was a must have for me. Glad I was able to put it on your list too. I love when someone shows me that I need something.
