Hi!  Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  Today, I’ve created a beautiful card to share with you inspired by the Creation Station Blog Hop Layers of Leaves theme.  After you have a chance to enjoy my card, be sure to hop along to the rest of the Creation Station design team and see how they’ve been inspired by layers of leaves!

 

Creation Station Blog Hop Layers of Leaves

 

 

For my card, I decided to create something with a little different shape.

To start, I used a Bermuda Bay cardstock base with

Whisper White layers.

 

 

On the front, I used leaves from Rooted in Nature mixed with

Silver Foil sprigs cut with the Sprig Punch, branches from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits

and berries and leaves cut with the Frosted Bouquet Framelits.

Around here, Fall leaves often still have a touch of green.

So, I added a Granny Apple Green ribbon to tie the card together.

 

 

Inside the first fold, I added a layer of Buffalo Check.

For the sentiment, I used a Stitched Labels Framelit

stamped with a Rooted in Nature sentiment embossed in silver.

Then, I layered it over some of the same stamped and die cut pieces

as the card front.

 

 

Inside, I layered with two Whisper White mats.

Then, I added a little Bermuda Bay splatter to give them

a finished look.
