Hi! I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Welcome to my blog!! Today is the Creation Station Blog Hop Got Your Back. The design team has created projects highlighting ways to pump up your backgrounds. I’m sharing a Faux Oxide Ink background. You’re going to love the inspiration!

Creation Station Blog Hop Got Your Back

Our theme this month is all about the background.
This baby has back…ground, that is 😉
I pulled out my Faux Oxide Ink Technique to share,
as it makes a fun background!!

The colors for the background are:
Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Seaside Spray and Pacific Point.
After creating the background (technique video below),
you’ll want to stamp that gorgeous bloom from
Good Morning Magnolia in Basic Gray.

Next, use the stitched tag from the Wild Rose dies
to cut a piece of Shimmery White.
And, use letters from Hand Lettered Prose dies to cut
the sentiment from Basic Gray.
Embellish with
Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon and
Silver Metallic Thread.

Then, finish with Frosted Epoxy Droplets.
Perfect “thinking of you” card!
