Welcome to the first of our July, Creation Station blog hops. This week we’re all about flowers. I’ve chosen to use Flower Patch for my creations today. I’m sure that by the time you’ve completed the hop that you will have inspiration for some new projects.
My first creation uses Flower Patch and the Cutie Pie Thinlits.
The cake box cut from a piece of Blackberry Bliss and trimmed with Silver Glimmer paper (cut with the Cutie Pie Thinlits). The box was adhered together with Tear and Tape (try it, you’ll love it!). Sticks great and no more static cling or gooey scissors.
The top of the box is decorated with three flowers from Flower Patch that were cut from Pink Pirouette cardstock and then stamped in the same color ink. The leaves are also from Flower Patch and were inked in Wild Wasabi on Whisper White.
Since I was going to be bending and pulling on the flowers to shape them, I used Tear and Tape to adhere them together and to the top of the cake slice.
The flowers are finished with Basic Pearls.
Next…
I created this simple tag using the Note Tag and Project Life Corner punches on Blackberry Bliss and Pink Pirouette. The tag is accented with a simple flower from Flower Patch and a piece of Silver 1/8″ ribbon.
I thought this simple tag would be perfect as a place card as it leans up against the coordinating cake box. Can’t you just see them on a lovely table?
Finally, I created a treat or gift bag.
Using a Sketched Dots Tag a Bag as a base, I created a cascade of flowers that flows down the front of the bag. These flowers are also from Flower Patch. Again, I used Pink Pirouette, Blackberry Bliss and Wild Wasabi. For the centers of the large flowers, I stamped twice to intensify the color. And, for the small leaves I stamped half of each leaf a second time to give the leaves more dimension.

To embellish further, strips of Silver and Blushing Bride sequin trim were added as well as a few loops of Silver Metallic Thread. All of this is secured onto the Sketched Dots Bag with a Silver Mini Metallic Clothespin.
I hope you’ve found something to inspire you.
Now, it’s time to move along to the next stop on the hop. You can proceed either backward or forward depending on where you started or have come from.
Thanks for stopping by.
