Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m Sara Levin the artful inker. Today, I’m hopping with the Creation Station design team. We’re all in love with the new Stampin’ Up! color palette. So that inspired our Creation Station Blog Hop Color Combos theme! If you’re loving the new Stampin’ Up! color palette as well, Join My Team! Along with the products you choose for your kit, you’ll also receive a Color Family Ink Pad Collection of your choice (a $75 value). Let’s take a look at what I’ve created to share with you. Leave me a comment and let me know which Color Family is your favorite. Then, be sure to tour the rest of the hop.
Creation Station Blog Hop Color Combos
Wood Words Card
Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay, Call Me Clover, and Tranquil Tide
For today’s card, I started with a Call Me Clover card base.
Then, I added layers of Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana.
On the Whisper White layer, I stamped a random pattern with the Wood Words
distressed heart in Coastal Cabana after stamping off.
Next, I added a banner in Lemon Lime Twist embossed with the Basket Weave
dynamic embossing folder.
Around the end of the banner, I tied Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon
with some Gold Mini Sequin Trim.
After cutting a piece of Shimmery White with the Lemon Builder Punch, I used
my Aqua Painter to add a wash of Coastal Cabana.
Once the wash was dry, I stamped the flower cluster from Wood Words
in Bermuda Bay.
Next are loops of Gold Metallic Thread.
On top is a Call Me Clover strip cut with the Classic Label Punch and
embossed the sentiment in white.
Taking a piece of Tranquil Tide, I embossed with the Softly Falling folder.
Finally, I added white Metallic Sequins.

Combos Wood Words Favor
It’s the season for Lemon Chiffon cookies.
So, I wrapped a couple in a 3″ x 6″ Gusseted Cellophane Bag.
Around the bag is an embossed belly band in Lemon Lime Twist.
I tied the belly band closed with Mini Striped Bermuda Bay Ribbon
and Gold Mini Sequin Trim.
Then, I used the same punch and wash to create a layer.
Using a different sentiment from Wood Words, I again embossed in white.
Again, I used loops of Gold Metallic Thread and an embossed Tranquil Tide heart.
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my Wood Words card and favor!

These are so much fun! Love the greens, hate to see Lemon Lime Twist go as well, but we have a whole year to still enjoy! Your projects are stunning Sara!

Sara: You certainly had me fooled! I love the “Wood Words” stamp set–but I had no idea that’s what you had used for these projects. That’s certainly out of the box–and stunning! I love these projects to much!! Thanks for the inspiration! xoKathyxo
