Creation Station Blog Hop Anything Embossing

For today’s card I used the Hello Beautiful stamp set with lots of bright colors.  It’s perfect to celebrate someone’s day or a new job or anything else exciting happening for your friends.

I love all of the fun shapes and textures in this set for creating my own background looks.

Now, the theme for today’s Creation Station Blog Hop is embossing.  And, I wanted to use the embossing as the little extras on the card rather than as large elements.

So, I used the Abstract Beauty Dies to cut the hexagon frames and the small hexagons.

For the hexagon frames, I heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  It’s part of the Metallics Stampin’ Emboss Powder combo pack.

And for the small die cut hexagons, I used the Hive 3D Embossing Folder and the splatters folder from the Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing (it’s a pack of two).

Hello Beautiful Sentiment

And finally, I added the sentiment from Hello Beautiful on an Abstract Beauty die cut.  Then, I used a couple of the images from Hello Beautiful to add some texture and color to the hexagon.
