Hello, hello, hello!! Welcome to my blog.  I’m Sara Levin the artful inker.  And, I’ve got something fun to share with you!  It’s my Creating Kindness Blog Hop Rustic Bouquet card.  Our theme this month is rustic – aka anything not citified — kinda farmhouse chic, etc.  Let’s take a look at what I’ve created and then you’ll want to be sure to check out the rest of the design team and our guest designer Caroline van der Straaten.

 

 

Creating Kindness Blog Hop Rustic Bouquet

 

 

Picking today’s color combination,

I choose a soft, woodsy palette.

 

 

For my rustic themed card, I chose to create a lush summer bouquet.

Not the kind you find at the florist.

But, the kind you go out to the garden and cut.

To start, I blended on a background of Mint Macaron before stamping with Hardwood.

 

 

To create the bouquet, I used the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and coordinating

Bouquet Bunch Framelits.

The flowers were stamped, die cut and fussy cut.

And for the vase, I used one of the cups from Coffee Cafe.

 

 

To finish the vase, I wrapped it in Linen Thread.

And at it’s base are a few fallen blossoms.
